The Doyen Retractor is a handheld retractor that is mostly used in abdominal OB/GYN procedures such hysterectomies, cesarean section deliveries, and ectopic pregnancy procedures. This retractor has a 90-degree angled, blunt, 1-3/4″ wide blade. This hand-held instrument also has a hooked handle, which may help the surgeon maintain a firmer grasp. The entire length is 9-1/2″, with the blade available in a variety of depths.
